“Amazingly well planned and orchestrated. A terrific model for managing adult learning! Thank you for your hard work and preparation. Inspiring!”

Emily Smith, Induction Coordinator, Houston Independent School District, Houston, Texas

So motivating and inspirational. The practice and feedback from peers from all over was invaluable. I have specific tools and action plans to take back to my school and class on Monday!

Colleen Hentschel, 2nd Grade Teacher, Chicago International Charter School Washington Park, Chicago, Illinois

“The Teach Like a Champion reading workshop was exactly what our team needed as we worked to shape our reading curriculum and instruction to the new demands of Common Core. What was most valuable was that the TLAC team acknowledged that reading instruction looks DIFFERENT from other types of instruction. The strategies and techniques they introduced us to will help us lead our readers to deep, critical understandings and build skills that they will use in college and beyond.”

Heather Busch, Literacy Coach, Hiawatha Academies, Minneapolis, Minnesota

All of our workshop content is designed to pass the “Monday Morning” test and provide teachers and school leaders simple, powerful ideas they can use right away. Participants learn both the fundamentals and subtleties of Teach Like a Champion techniques through analysis of video clips, case studies, and live demonstrations, then apply their emerging understanding immediately in carefully designed practice.
